The Starplayer CBR is the latest model in Duesenberg’s representative “Starplayer” series.
While inheriting the spirit of the original Starplayer that was released in 1995, it was developed incorporating the latest technology and modern features and was unveiled at the 2025 NAMM Show.
The body is made of chambered mahogany with a maple top, producing a rich, warm sound with a rich mid-low range.
The pickups are a P-90 type in the front and a Grand Vintage humbucker in the rear. The 5-way selector offers not only the standard front/rear positioning, but also positions including coil tap and low-cut. This allows for a wide variety of tones, allowing you to tailor your sound to suit any genre or playing environment.
The tremolo unit is a newly designed “Diamond Prestige Tremola,” and the arm is a flat type reminiscent of the classic Duesenberg. Not only is it easy to play, but its vintage look is also one of its charms.
