For your kind consideration is this vintage 14″ Paiste 2002 Sound Edge hi-hat cymbal pair. These black label 2002s were made in Switzerland in 1977 and have sequential serial numbers 752XXX. They’re in great condition with a perfect patina and sound awesome. Sound Edge hi-hats were massively popular in the 1970s and were played by so many of the greats. Take a listen to our demo video and you’ll recognize the classic Paiste sound. The waved edge of the bottom cymbal give extra clarity to the chick sound. They have nice stick definition and project without being too loud and sound great recorded. No cracks, bends, flea bites, or keyhole. These weigh in at 986 grams on the top and 1038 grams on the bottom. Enjoy!
