1965 Ludwig 521514 No 491 Pioneer Snare Drum Oyster Black Pearl Nickel

For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig 5×14 No. 491 Pioneer snare drum. It’s in outstanding, well cared for condition and sounds great. The Oyster Black Pearl wrap is in lovely condition with just a few of the lightest surface scratches. This three ply white interior drum has an internal date stamp of AUG 16 1965. It features a nice keystone badge (serial # 194XXX), original P-83 strainer and butt, white baseball bat muffler, and beautiful bow-tie lugs. All tension rods and washers are original. The nickel plating is in great condition with just a few specs of oxidation here and there on the nickel over brass hoops, strainer, and butt. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. With vintage Ludwig heads and the original wires, this drum is ready to shine in your collection. Enjoy!
