The Lava Nygults have the same formulation as their Super Nylgut strings but sport the maker’s iconic black finish for a really cool and clean appearance. Considered an upgrade to New Nylgut, these Super Nylgut-formulated strings have a smooth, polished surface that feels like wax for a pleasant playing experience. They aren’t as stretchy as the New Nylguts either, allowing for quicker setting to the proper intonation when you put them on brand new and stronger intonation maintenance while you’re playing. Super Nylgut is more resistant to sharp nut edges, fret markers, or hard nail playing, giving your strings a longer life and keeping you making music even longer.
