Danelectro D59M-Spruce Black Pearl Used

An underrated classic if there ever was one: heres a great deal on a very lightly used Danelectro 59M-Spruce guitar, this one in a Black Pearl finish. The 59M-Spruce is the famous shorthorn hollow body built with a spruce top, C shaped maple neck, and two NOS lipstick pickups for that famous Dano tone thats been used from everyone from Syd Barrett and Jimi Hendrix to Beck and Nels Cline. The pickups are 15-year-old lipstick pickups that were originally lost in shipping. Whether it was aging of the Alnico magnets or the type of magnets used that year, it’s not certain but these lipsticks are super twangy and punchy. An excellent addition to your arsenal of instruments that wont break the bank.
