This Strat is an exciting collaboration between Fender, Leica Cameras, and the legendary Andy Summers of The Police. Masterbuilt by Dennis Galuszka, the Strat is wrapped with a collage of monochrome photos taken by Summers with his favored Leica cameras. Combining his love of photography and guitars, this is a definite showpiece for admirers of Summer’s one of a kind guitar playing and followers of his photography skills. The specs on the guitar include an alder body with a tough polyurethane finish, rift sawn maple neck with authentic ’63 “C” profile and medium vintage frets. Pickups are a trio of Custom Shop Hand-Wound ’60s single-coils to offer classic Fender chime. The knobs are Leica-styled and the 15th fret inlay is a red dot to keep with the camera theme. Each guitar includes a clear pickguard and backplate to showcase the photos, a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
