The lightweight alder body is finished in Olympic White and features a vintage-style aluminum plate between the single-ply black phenolic pickguard and pots/switch for authentic, original-era Strat tone. Besides reducing 60-cycle hum, this plate also rounds off the upper harmonics of the hand wound Fender Custom Shop pickups, generating warm, expressive tone thats full of soul.
