Three hand-wound Custom Shop ’54 Strat pickups are guided by vintage ’54 Strat wiring with wax paper caps and a 5-way switch, providing classic Strat sound with clear, bell-like treble.Additional premium features and authentic first-year Strat features include a single-ply white pickguard and serialized backplate, 1954-style white ABS pickup covers and control knobs, a vintage Custom Shop synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage tuner-style, disc-shaped tailpiece, a special Stratocaster 70th Anniversary neck plate, a deluxe embroidered hardshell case, a special “Case Candy” set, and a Certificate of Authenticity.
