Today’s Byrdland from Gibson Custom Shop’s Crimson Division continues to be period-correct to the 1957 model, and it’s built with a solid spruce top, maple for the back and sides, a five-piece maple/walnut neck with an ebony fretboard, and Gibson Custom Bucker pickups that faithfully replicate the sound of early PAFs. This particular Byrdland boasts a Venetian cutaway and is finished in a super eye-catching Bahama Blue Burst finish with amazing looking gold hardware with Bella Voce engraving that is quite intricate up close. Other features include an inlaid ebony floating bridge and classic triple-hoop Byrdland tailpiece.
