LTD VULTURE (Black Satin) [James Hetfield Signature Model]

This is a signature model of James Hetfield, the influential rhythm guitarist and frontman of Metallica, the world’s most popular metal band!

The V-shaped mahogany body features a hook and beveled cut reminiscent of the Metallica logo. The three-piece mahogany neck features a set neck construction, a Macassar ebony fingerboard with a custom vulture inlay at the 12th fret, and a 628mm scale length.

The LTD Vulture features LTD locking tuning pegs that allow you to lock the strings, and a TonePros bridge and tailpiece that allow you to lock the body.

Both the ESP and LTD guitars are equipped with his signature active pickups, the EMG JH Het Set.

The JH-N (neck) pickup is designed to capture the clarity and punch of a passive pickup while retaining the legendary active tone that defined an era. Individual ceramic poles and bobbins with a larger core and height than the EMG 60 deliver more attack, more output, and a fuller low-end in the neck position. The JH-B (bridge) pickup uses the same core type, but unlike the EMG 81, which uses a bar magnet, it uses steel pole pieces. This delivers the familiar tight attack and cleaner low-end with less inductance.
