Matt Garstka’s signature Equilibrium HiHat is built on a similar concept to Equilibrium china, mixing raw, extra-dry natural areas with various finishes including razing, sandblasting, and holes.
The holes in the bottom allow air to escape, producing a crisp, chic sound, the natural finish on the top enhances the tip attack, and the razing and sandblasting give it a sharp sound while keeping it dry and preventing it from overwarming when opened.This is a versatile hi-hat that combines a variety of elements in an even balance.
